Rob Crisp - Drummer and Teacher
Home > Biography

Born on the Isle of Wight back in 1983, it wasn't until he was 13 that his parents finally caved and allowed allowed him to take up drums at school.

It quickly became apparent Rob's habit of tapping on everything in sight was in fact part of something much bigger, a burning passion for rhythm and music.

Private lessons after school and then continued study at DrumTech in London further inspired Rob to better his ability. This thirst for knowledge has resulted in Rob becoming one of internationally respected drummer Dom Famularo's students.

Never afraid to push himself and try something new, in Spring 2008 Rob managed to secure himself a spot playing as a guest drummer for Jimi Hendrix' cousin at an international drumming event in New York.

Playing gigs with as many artists as possible and with his band SomaHigh well on the way to becoming a success, 2008 is sure to be a year that sees Rob's career go from strength to strength.
